2008 Public Interest/Public Service
Dear Legal Employer:
We invite you to participate in our Spring 2008 Public Interest/Public Service Recruitment Program to recruit summer clerks/associates, part-time interns, and entry-level attorneys. Employers may opt to participate in the following:

(1) ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS:
Our public interest/public service on-campus interviews will take place on Friday, February 8, 2008 (Inclement weather date: February 15, 2008).
All interviews will take place at the School of Law. The program is managed through the Symplicity website. The Office of Career Services will send you, electronically, resumes of the students who have expressed interest in your organization, and you choose (prescreen) the students whom you would like to interview. There is no registration fee for you to participate in the program.
To register for interviews, go to:
https://law-howard-csm.symplicity.com/employers.
- Previous users can simply use their old IDs (e-mail addresses) and passwords to access the website. If you have forgotten your password, please contact us at
. - New users can go to the website to register as a new employer. A password will be e-mailed to you as soon as possible.
Once you have logged on with your ID and password, go to the OCI tab, then “Request a Schedule,” and select “2008 Public Interest On-Campus Interview Program” from the Sessions drop-down list. Fill in all applicable information, including the class year(s) you want to interview, hiring criteria, and length of interviews. Hit “submit.” Registrations should be entered on Symplicity no later than January 7, 2008.
You will receive a confirmation of your request within a few days after your registration. You should also enter and/or update your profile on Symplicity, as this will be the primary method that students will use to begin researching your organization and placing bids. You will receive a resume book by January 22, 2008 containing application documents from the students who express interest in your organization.
Additional information will be sent with the resume book, including a campus map, parking permit, hotel guide and grading policies.
