The best way to experience the Howard University School of Law is to visit its beautiful campus and walk the grounds and visit the classrooms where the next generation of national and global leaders are acquiring the skills that will enable them to continue the legacy of Justice Thurgood Marshall, Vernon Jordan, Gov. L. Douglas Wilder, Judge Gabrielle Kirk McDonald, and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Oliver Hill. The Office of Admissions invites you to visit and looks forward to escorting you around the campus.

Important Howard University School of Law DOES NOT offer tours during the following times:

November 22 through the end of the year in the fall;
Howard University School of Law’s Scheduled Spring Break;
April 17th through August 21st and
All Legal Holidays

Adhering to these dates ensures that our students have a quiet environment as they study and take exams and that all interested individuals have the opportunity to see the law school when students, faculty and staff are present. We will not respond to tour request that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Please help us in that effort by not requesting tours during the aforementioned times.

How to Schedule a Guided Tour

Keep in mind that the Office of Admissions receives many requests for guided tours from prospective students and requires at least a week of notice to schedule a tour. To ensure that you receive the special, individualized treatment we endeavor to provide please:

List (3) three preferred dates (subject to the above message) in the following format (MONTH/DAY/YEAR) you would like to visit.

Provide your full name

Provide your email address.

Provide a working contact number.

Although we collect phone numbers, correspondence regarding your tour will be sent via email. Specifically, you will receive email confirmation of the request to set up a guided tour. We look forward to hosting you soon.
