JD/MBA Program Information
The J.D./M.B.A. is a four-year, full-time program offered jointly by the School of Law and the School of Business. To receive the J.D./M.B.A. degree, a student must complete a total of 105 semester hours, including all of the separate course requirements for both the J.D. and M.B.A. programs. Of the 105 semester hours, the candidate must complete 66 in the School of Law and must complete 39 in the School of Business. If a student wishes to apply to the joint JD/MBA program he/she must submit an application to the law school office of admissions by the application deadline.
When the candidate has successfully completed the program, the respective schools confer the J.D. and M.B.A. degrees simultaneously. Additionally, a Joint Program Certificate will be awarded upon completion of the program. Applicants must apply and meet the independent admission criteria for each school.
Deadline for Receipt of all materials is March 15. Please indicate on your application that you want to be considered for the dual degree program. IMPORTANT, a student should send GMAT scores DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS FOR PROCESSING.

Please note: To be considered for the dual degree of a JD/MBA, the applicant must meet the requirements of both schools. Please see the link below which details the MBA program requirements.

•An additional 18 credit hours of elective courses are required for a total of 66 J.D. Credit Hours.
If a student intends to apply to the joint JD/MBA program he/she must submit the following required documentation to the office of admissions by the application deadline.
For the JD/MBA use the following checklist to insure that all materials are submitted timely:
• LSAT/LSDAS Report
• GMAT Scores
• Personal Statement
• College Certification
• Three (3) Letters of Recommendations
• Any addendum required explaining any academic or disciplinary action
• Undergraduate Transcript
• Statement of Interest for the MBA program
• TOEFL (for international students from non-English speaking countries)
