Visitors Application and Information

Spring semester application deadline NOVEMBER 1st
Fall semester visiting application deadline MARCH 14th

As a result of our uniquie location in the nations capital and for a variety of professional and personal reasons, students who attend other ABA-approved law schools frequently request to attend Howard University School of Law for one semester or one academic school year. Visiting student status is granted on the basis of the applicant’s law school performance at their home institution and the availability of classroom space at Howard.

Due to the short period of time that a visiting student is in residence at Howard, participation in the On Campus Interviewing (OCI) process is reserved for full time and transfer students only. However, visiting students are able to use the other resources of the Career Services Center.
