This year National Library Week is Sunday April 2nd – Saturday April 8th. National Library Week was started in 1958 to honor the connection of libraries to research and the involvement of librarians toward academic excellence. It continues today.

Named by Angela L. Lipscomb

Learned Worm

is the name of the Law Library Bookworm.

Congratulations Ms. Lipscomb!

Thank you for breaking the three-way tie between Learned Worm, Booker the Bookworm, and Happy Howie: Howard’s Bookworm. Learned Worm received 12 votes. Booker the Booker got 5 votes and Happy Howie: Howard’s Bookworm came in next with 4 votes.

The bookworm will be used to promote library services and highlight library policy.

The concept and design of the Law Library’s Bookworm was created by Mr. Blair Diggs, the law school Webmaster.

The law library gives a special thank you to Mr. Diggs and to you for your support of the law library during National Library Week.
