Class of 1997 - 10 Year Reunion

Greetings all!

It is hard to believe that ten years have passed since we graduated from Howard University School of Law. To celebrate this occasion, we are excited to be hosting the Class of 1997 Reunion Weekend this year in conjunction with Howard’s Homecoming. The weekend festivities provide us with many opportunities to see old friends and renew former connections.

We are also raising money for a scholarship fund in the class’ name. Even if you cannot join us for the festivities, please consider making a tax deductible donation.

Alumni Weekend Kick-Off

Stop by the law school campus to participate in the Alumni Weekend kick-off activities and a reception. More information will follow.

An Afternoon on the Yard

Join us in the Hospitality Room as we gather to watch the Homecoming Game on big screens while hanging out with classmates and enjoying a catered meal.

Champagne Brunch
(Beacon Hotel)
Join us for an elegant brunch where we can toast each other with mimosas and enjoy a hearty meal before heading back home.



FEES
Fees can be paid safely and securely on PayPal. If you plan to attend but intend to pay later (see dates listed below), please send an email to husl97reunion@yahoo.com to RSVP. Paying on-line constitutes an RSVP.

  • Guest - $85 (per person)
  • Children - $40 (per child age 2-10)

RSVP required by September 15, 2007 Fees due by September 30, 2007 A late fee of $25 will be assessed for fees received after September 30, 2007

CLASS OF 1997 SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We all remember those days of stress that came with trying to figure out how we could make it through another semester as a struggling student. To assist those who are following in our footsteps, we would also like to set up a scholarship in our class name.

Goal Amount: $10,000
If each of us gives a little, we can collectively raise enough money to start an endowment in the class’ name.

Donations are tax deductible. Upon receipt of the donation, you will receive acknowledgement letters from both Howard University and the School of Law that you can use for tax purposes.

There are several ways to give:

On-line Donations To make a donation on-line, please click on the link to complete HUSL’s on-line donation form .  In order for the funds to be allocated to the class, please do NOT click on " School of Law Annual Fund" in the field "Please use my gift for."  Rather, type "HUSL Class of 1997 Scholarship" in the next field entitled "If other, please specify.
Checks Your check should be made out to Howard University School of Law.  Please note "HUSL Class of 1997 Scholarship" in the memo line.  Checks should be mailed to:
