In-Class Program Requirements

Should you choose the In-Class Paralegal program track, there are two requirements that admitted students must complete.

These requirements ARE NOT applicable to students enrolled in the Paralegal On-Line program.


When you are admitted to the Howard University School of Law Paralegal In-class Certificate Program, you will be required to complete your health clearance to attend class. Below are the forms that you are required to complete and submit to the Student Health Center.

Letter to Prospective Howard University Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Medical History Form
Non-health Professions Immunization Form

All students who attend classes at Howard University are required to obtain a student identification card, the Bison One Card.
This card gives you access to all facilities on the West Campus and the library.
Please visit the website below for instructions to obtain the card.

BISON ONE Card Programs

272 total hours of study (4 month program)
A minimum of 12 hours per week using online study tools and viewing online lectures (on scheduled days)

A framed Howard University School of Law Paralegal Certificate.

These in-class Paralegal Studies Programs at Howard University are a very affordable cost of $4,995 for tuition.  There will be an additional materials fee estimated at $550 (tax and delivery charges will be added to your order).  Parking on the campus is available at no cost for the evening and weekend programs.
