The World Food Law Institute is holding a series of Embassy Round Tables in 2011/2012. The Round Tables bring together small groups of experts to discuss trends and issues of U.S. and international food and agriulture policy, regulation and law.

Small food producers and processors are a frequent focus of these discussions. The September 2011 Round Table, held at the Embassy of the Cote d'Ivoire, considered  SMALL FARMERS and FOOD PROCESSING: THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES OF GLOBAL STANDARDS.

That Round Table will be followed by a discussion at the D.C. headquarters of the UN Food and Agriculture Orgaization in January 2012.
